On my way to work this morning (I got a late start - Moo was up all night woofing and taking care of her outdoor "business"), I heard on NPR some good news about the changes seen on Haifa Street in Baghdad. The overall consensus was that this important street was safer. What I found particularly interesting was that the reporter mentioned that the Iraqi Police were controlling the area with check points. It is nice to hear a report about the good job the IPs are doing.
